Step 1: Warm up
1.T: Class begins. Good ..., boys and girls.
2.T: Today is ...New Year is coming. Do you like New Year?
Now, let’s listen to a song. (听
What’s the name of the song? (答出的学生给贴纸奖励)
S: ....
T:...Let’s try to sing it together.
(学生试着跟卡通唱歌谣。)
(设计意图:用学生熟悉的歌曲导入,引起学生的兴趣,以贴纸奖励,激发学生兴趣。)
3.T: What do we do in New Year?
S: ....
T: We can do many interesting things in New Year. And, we can get a lot of presents, too. Today Miss Lu also get some New Year presents. Look, what’s this? (出示自己的礼品袋,让学生回答拿出的物品。)
S: It’s a .... (板书学生提到的单词。)
(设计意图:由孩子比较熟悉的新年引出过年的一些习俗,运用在Unit7的Cartoon time中学生已经接触过What’s this?的句型,练习用It’s来回答,操练巩固已学知识,同时也为新知的学习做准备。)
4.T: 观看泰微课视频《What’s this?》
