Step1: Warm up

1.Look at the picture about the twins

2.Free talk:

Who’s he/she?

Where are they? At school? At a birthday party?

Step 2.Presentation and practice

A. Rhyme time

出示Robbie Roy的图片:Ask some questions about the boy.

Who’s that little boy?

Watch the cartoon and tell me his name.

Ss: His name is Robbie Roy.

T: Is he tall?

Ss: No. Robbie Roy isn’t very tall.

T: Look at his cat and mouse. Are they big?

Ss: No.

T: Yes. His cat and mouse are also small.

1.教师出示歌谣,学生尝试认读

2. Read after the tape.(加上动作)

3. Read together.

设计意图:通过吟唱,使学生进一步掌握本节的短语和句型。
