Step 1:
Review something about trees and know trees are important in our daily lives.
Step 2:
Show the topic of this reading: “ The Amazon rainforest”.
Brainstorm “What do you want to know about the amazon rainforest?”
Step 3:
Read the passage together and catch the information about “ the amazon rainforest”. For example, where ,how much, what is the problem for it?........
Step 4: (group work)
Ask all the groups of students to find out the important information about the forest, and share the information in groups and make sure everyone can know the information. Choose a student as the professor to answer the questions form the students.
Step 5: (writing)
Write a slogan(标语)for the Amazon forest to call on all the people to protect it. For example, no trees, no home!
Step 6:
Make all the students know the importance of Amazon rainforest.
