Step 1 . Pre- reading

Let’s play

If you see a phrase, read it and do it.

If you see a tiger, shout Ahh.

(Purpose: Review some words and phrases we have learnt.)

Let’s guess

Today I bring some presents for you.Here are three boxes.What are the presents?

Clothes: jacket ,T-shirt, cap (学生用句型 Is this a ...?提问)

Toys: ball, car ,robot (学生用句型 Is that a ...?提问)

学习句型:Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t. isn’t=is not

Stationery: pen, pencil ,pencil case (学生用句型 Is that a ...?提问)

(Purpose: To practice and consolidate the new sentences)

Step 2 .While-reading

Watch and choose:

What’s the story about?

The pencil is lost(丢失).

The pencil is broken(弄坏).

The pencil is stolen(被偷).

Listen and underline

Liu Tao and Yang Ling help Mike . How do they help Mike? Find the sentences and underline.

Let’s learn

Mike finds the pencil at last.What does he say? Find the sentence and read aloud.
