Step 1 Leading in.
1.Greetings.
2.Show the pictures of Fuli Middle School.
设计意图:通过对本校环境和学生的图片展示,满足学生对外校老师的好奇心,引起学生的学习兴趣,同时为引入be动词的系表结构作准备。
Step 2 Presentation
A.Linking Verb Be
1.Show the sentences with Linking Verbs--“be”.
2.Ask the Ss to find out the structure, and explain what the Predicative and the Linking Verbs are.
设计意图:通过对语法点的解释让学生更容易理解本节所学内容。
3.Exercises.
B.Other Linking Verbs
1.Show the Ss more pictures, ask Ss to talk about the pictures with the sentences of Linking Verbs.
设计意图:以图片带动学生学习的兴趣,同时更好地引出连系动词知识点。
2.Ask Ss to find out the other Linking Verbs, fill in the blank with English and Chinese.(Group work)
设计意图:让学生通过参与小组讨论获得知识,更深入理解知识点。
3.Give the Ss a summary and ask them to do exercises.

1.Describe the pictures with Linking Verbs, using more than 6 sentences.(Group work)
