Step 1 Leading in.

1.Greetings.

2.Show the pictures of Fuli Middle School.

设计意图：通过对本校环境和学生的图片展示，满足学生对外校老师的好奇心，引起学生的学习兴趣，同时为引入be动词的系表结构作准备。

Step 2 Presentation

A.Linking Verb Be

1.Show the sentences with Linking Verbs--“be”.

2.Ask the Ss to find out the structure, and explain what the Predicative and the Linking Verbs are.

设计意图：通过对语法点的解释让学生更容易理解本节所学内容。

3.Exercises.

B.Other Linking Verbs

1.Show the Ss more pictures, ask Ss to talk about the pictures with the sentences of Linking Verbs.

设计意图：以图片带动学生学习的兴趣，同时更好地引出连系动词知识点。

2.Ask Ss to find out the other Linking Verbs, fill in the blank with English and Chinese.(Group work)

设计意图：让学生通过参与小组讨论获得知识，更深入理解知识点。

3.Give the Ss a summary and ask them to do exercises.
