Although/Though Liu Wei is disabled, he plays the piano well.

meaning ：尽管，虽然(连词）

规则1:

We use adverbial clauses of concession(让步) to (compare / contrast) two ideas.

Step 3. Discovery 2

What are the differences between the two sentences?

① Although/Though he is disabled, he plays the piano well.

②He plays the piano well although/though he is disabled.

规则2:

Although/Though引导的让步状语从句可位于 ，与后面的主句用“ ” 隔开，也可以直接放在主句 。
