2. Give some examples of articles.

Talk about the examples. Present “article”. Get students to know the usage of the grammar: the function and position.

Get students to read the second part, distinguish definite article, indefinite article and zero article, make sure that the students can use them correctly.
Get students to go through Part 3 and Part 4, make sure they know different usage of articles and can use them freely.
Get students to read Part 5 carefully, make sure they don’t make the same mistakes.
Step 3. Teach the grammar
Get students to summarize the usage of articles.
T gives some wrong sentences and phrases , asks Ss to correct them.
Get students to make up sentences using the grammar, other Ss correct mistakes.
