【教学过程】

Step 1. Warm-up and lead in:

Look at three pictures and ask students what kind of music these are. Then explain their differences among them. And ask two questions. “What kind of music do you like?” “What do you think of this music?” Help them answer the questions with “It makes me feel _____.”

Play three pieces of music (classical music, traditional Chinese music and pop music) and have students practice the short dialog in pairs.

--A: What kind of music do you like? --B: I like _________.

--A: What do you think of this music? --B: It makes me feel _____.

Step 2. Listening:

Listen to the tape and put a check in the correct box.

Listen again and check T or F.

Listen to the dialog and repeat.

Step 3. Speaking:

Listen to the dialog and read together.
