设计思路
用自己昨天的day off,朋友Nick的day off，自己梦幻中的day off为主线贯穿全课，引导帮助学生谈论自己的真实的一个day off 以及想象中的一个day off。
教学步骤：
Greet.
通过互相问候和自我介绍，向同学们引入过去时的概念。
Guess.
首先通过一些图片和声音的形式请同学猜测我在最近的一个day off做了哪些事情。通过这个活动强化过去时的概念，对一些常用动词（went, saw, took, bought, played, drank, got, slept）过去式进行巩固，并引入到day off的话题。
Read.
展示给同学们一封来自朋友Nick的来信，信的主要内容是关于他的上一个day off，里面还包含一张照片。
Dear Lily,
How was your day off? Did you have fun camping? I didn’t have a very fun day. I visited my cousins. It rained all day. In the morning, I stayed in the house and watched DVDs, played computer games and read. In the afternoon, Uncle Martin put some of his old things out in the yard and had a yard sale! However, no one came to the sale because the weather was so bad. Luckily, we brought our umbrellas and raincoats, so we didn’t get wet.
