六年级下册《Module 3 3 The natural world Unit 11 Controlling fire》优质课教案教学设计
文本结构:文本分为两小部分,第一部分交代了对话的背景,另一部分是Alice 与Kitty的对话,篇幅较短,结构清晰,易于学生理解与模仿。
文本内容:文本根据交代的背景,通过对话的形式,展现出学生通过观察,叙述出学校消防器材的安放位置及数量,增强学生的防火安全意识。
文本语言:文本虽然篇幅较短,但有一定的生词量,重点单词和句型有:extinguisher, alarm,reel,firefighting,firefighting equipment,outside/near,on the ground/first/second/third floor等。在教授新单词时,借助音标发音规则,进行语音教学。例如:extinguisher由于单词较长,所以采用分音节教学。
本课内容不多,有利于学生理解和感知。文本中主要涉及询问消防器材的安放位置的表达。询问地点的疑问词where和there be句型,学生在小学已学过,但本课中仍有部分新授单词和词组。通过本课的学习,不仅让学生可以在平面图上标注消防器材的位置,提高读图能力,还能在生活中解决实际问题。另外,学生在六年级对句子的升降调和停顿以及课文朗读的语音语调已有一定的掌握,所以在本课中提醒学生利用所学技能进行有感情地朗读。

1. understand the meaning of the following new words and expressions: firefighting, alarm, reel,

2. get specific information of the text through listening.
3. talk about the location of the firefighting equipment at school.
4. cultivate students’ capicity of reading a floor plan and solving practical problems in daily life.

Possible learning difficulties:
1. to express to add more firefighting equipment on each floor in our school.
