1.although 与 though

1).用作连词 表示“虽然”，两者同义，可换用，只是 although 比 though 更为正式:

___________/__________ it was raining，we went there. 虽然下着雨，但我们还是去了那儿。

2). 用在 as though/if(好像，仿佛)，even though/if(即使，纵然)等固定短语 中不能用 although:

She closed her eyes _________ ____________she were tired. 她闭上眼，仿佛很疲劳似的。

________ ________ we could _________ it, we wouldn’t _______ _________ for our vocation.

尽管我们付得起钱，也不出国度假。

3). although引导的从句不能与but, however连用，但可与yet, still连用。

2.so...that...引导结果状语从句，表示“如此……以致……”。

1) so + adj / adv + that从句

so + adj + a(n) + n.单 +that从句
