Key vocabulary and key structures :sb. Is/am/are doing;Students talk about their trip by using the present continuous tense.

Step1: warming-up
Ask students questions about their trip
Step2: new words and phrases
Show some pictures related to the new words and let students guess what they are and what they are doing at the moment.
Purpose: Pave way for the relative topic. And learn some new words and phrases relevant topic of the passage.
Step3: watch a video
Let the students to watch a video then express their opinions about this video. And the teacher summaries the video.
Purpose: Inspire students’ enthusiasm and lead them to Betty and her friends’ trip.
Step4: listen and answer
Students should listen the passage for 3 times and complete the tasks.
Purpose: Improve students’ listening skills (listen for specific information) and pronunciation. Have students get a better understanding of the conversation by doing various of activities.
