The dialogue of this unit is about the two cities –Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Daming and Tony compare the two cities, and introduce the comparative form of the adjectives. The teacher should tell students how to introduce the city in the past, at present and in the future. In the dialogue, they first talk about the location of the two cities, then the population, last the symbol buildings. And in this unit, students also need to take part in a meaningful activity-to make a survey about their hometown, then compare with other cities. This can help them to understand the comparative degree and enhance their feeling about their hometown.
