《Unit Two School Life Lesson 3 Showing Ms Stone Around the School》公开课优秀教案教学设计(六年级上册)
Teaching objectives:
Students are expected to learn an introduction of a school by identifying the locations of the school buildings and the functions of the school facilities, with focus on sentence relevance and sentence patterns. (You can see…/ There be…/ We have … It is…/ You can see students doing…) Through the activities in class, students will know more about their school and love their school.
Teaching focus:
Determining the locations of the school buildings and the functions of the school facilities;
Using the target sentence patterns to introduce students’ own school;
Being aware of sentence relevance while reading.
Difficulties in learning:
Students are probably unfamiliar with some school facilities of their school since they have been in the school for only two months, which may cause problems in the post-reading stage. The teacher should help students activate what they have learned in previous lessons and give enough information about them.
