Presentation:
Show some pictures of Olympic champions, and then introduce some sports events to the students. a. Learn some new words and expressions about sports events.
b. Divided the Athletic events into two broad categories.

Practice on the text: a. Show the picture which students are having a sports meeting.
b. Play the recorder and ask the students to do some listening and group work. a. Answer some questions about the picture, and then listen and match the name to the sports they entered.
