Teaching procedure:
Pre-task activities: What’s your favourite lesson? Why do you like it ?
While-task activities:
Listen to para 1 and do the “T”or “F” exercise
Fill in the blanks and retell para 1 and read para 1 together;
Divide the facilities into sporting facilities or teaching facilities;
Listen to Para 2 and fill in the blanks ;
Make short sentences with “be made up of / consist of”
Skim Para 3 and fill in the blanks;
Read para 4 by themselves and choose the subjects taught by Dongfang International School ;
Read the whole text carefully and finish the comprehension check.
Post-task activities:
Ask one student to make a conclusion about how to introduce a school;
Look at some pictures of our own school and point out whether they belong to sporting facilities or teaching facilities
Look at some information about our school and write a passage
Assignment:
