S:… 寒假过后的第一节课,让学生谈论一下寒假生活,如去过哪里,到哪里玩过等。既可以起到复习作用,又可引出课文的主题。 While-task Elicit some new words with the help of some pictures.

(Show the pictures of traffic lights, crossroads, junction, roundabout, overpass, turn (n.), the Bund, post office, bookstore, foreigner.)

把图片贴在黑板上,把单词打乱秩序写在图片下方,让学生根据自己的感知来配对。学生可以尝试着做这个活动。如学生有困难,教师可让学生组成对子或小组来讨论,或给予简单的英语解释,降低难度。)采用竞赛的形式,看谁最快得到答案。如学生搭配错误,可让其他同学指出。
