T: Boys and girls, what can you hear in the song?
Yes. Today we’ll go on learning Unit 6 What time is it?.
Look, here’s a clock. What time is it? Do you know? Do you want to know? You should say: Tick-tock, tick-tock, what time is it?
(设计意图:歌曲导入,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。以一个空白的钟来提问:What time is it? 激发学生的好奇心。)
Step 2 Checkout time
Listen and draw.
T: I think you know the time well. Can you draw it? OK. Please open your books, turn to Page 43. Please listen and draw the short hand.
T: Finished? Please look at Picture 1. Who can tell me what time is it? Or we also can say “What’s the time?”.
