Step 1. Warm-up
Play a game “I say, you say.”
(老师说一个词,学生说出属于同一类的词。T:colour, animal, vegetable, fruit, name, drink, stationery. 在学生进行头脑风暴时,适当板书含有字母P和b的单词,环节结束请学生归纳P、b的发音。最后,请学生观察,在老师出示的这七个单词里找到一个新的单词:Library,揭示本课主题。)
Step 2: Review storytime
1.出示图片。
T: Look, where is Liu Tao? Ss: He’s in the library.
T: What did Liu Tao do in the library? Ss: Shout, run, talk, sleep.
T: Who stopped him? Ss: Yang Ling.
T: What did Yang Ling say? Ss: Don’t shout. Don’t run.……
(通过图片和提问刘涛在哪里,做什么,谁阻止了他,是怎么说的,帮助学生回忆课文。)
2. If you’re Yang Ling, can you sing the song“Don’t talk, Tao!”?
(利用歌曲板块的旋律进行改编,激发学生的兴趣。)

4. What shouldn’t we do in the library
(激发学生思维,我们在图书馆不能做什么?结合图标补充两个词 litter smoke. 结合生活实际,让学生更好地更容易地掌握运用英语。)
T: Now, please open your books, turn to page 17, write down the answers on your book..(完成check out time的作业,请学生到黑板板书。)
5.What can we do in the library?
(书上storytime一直讨论的是在图书馆不能做什么?那在图书馆我们可以做什么呢?对文本进行再构,启迪学生的思维。)
Step 3. Review cartoon time
1.出示图片
T: Look, what is Yang Ling doing in the library? Ss: Shout, eat Bobby’s cake……
T: What’s the name or the book? Ss: Bobby and Jack
T: Have you read this book? Ss: Yes!
T: Who’s Jack? Ss: He’s Bobby’s cousin.
T: What does Jack do in the story? Ss: Shout, eat Bobby’s cake……
What do you think of Jack? A. friendly B. nice C. naughty
(将cartoon time的内容用一本书的形式呈现,帮助学生复习Jack是谁,他做了什么事,让学生对Jack进行评价,为下一环节做铺垫。)
2. T: Jack is very naughty. He makes a mess of the house. The next day do you want to know what happened?
(用连环画的形式对cartoon time进行文本再构,文字结合图片,Bobby带着Jack去公园,在长凳的旁边标注着油漆未干,Jack却坐上去,大树旁边标注着不能攀爬,Jack却调皮的爬了上去,小河边禁止游泳,Jack却准备下河被Bobby一把栏住,让学生读一读,通过图片想一想,说一说Bobby对Jack会说什么。)
3.通过这个故事,让学业生思考the rules of the park.
