Step One: Free talk

设计意图:百学趣为先,歌曲能激发学生的学习兴趣,本首歌曲既起到“收心”作用,又可以为教学作铺垫。
Question: What sport can you see in the song?
Step Two: Learn the new words: jump, run, skate, swim……
过渡语:I can run. I can swim…I can do many sports. Next it’s sports time.全体学生起立,Say a chant: Run, run, I can run. Swim, swim, I can swim. Skate, skate, I can skate.
设计意图:充分利用歌曲内容进行单词教学,扫除学习路上的“拦路虎”。
过渡语:I can run, I can skate. I can do a ball sport? Look!

1. Show a football picture.引出单词football进行教学,板书I can…
2. Show a picture and teach the word: basketball. 教学basketball单词
播放一个教师打篮球的微视频,向学生提问:What sport can I do? 引出句型I can play basketball,教读并板书。
3.教师拿起一只篮球,进行情景教学.
