1. Look at the cover and answer:

Who are in the picture ? (tigers, elephant, ducks and monkeys)(板书呈现一级思维导图,书写关键词who,并随着学生的回答,继续板书完整)。

2. Group work1

A.Read the story quickly and find what are the animals playing.

B.Underline your answers

C.Talk about your answers in groups.

3. Listen and answer

What do the animals say to the elephant?

(What are you doing, little elephant? go away! )

Look at them, Are they angry? Let’s read it angrily ,ok? (指导朗读)

4 . Read and answer

How does the little elephant feel? (板书补充思维导图,书写关键词how,并引导学生读出angry的语气,同时为接下来的happy转变埋下伏笔。)

Ss read page6 to page15 by themselves, and find a key wordto describe it.

5. Group work

Read the story quickly, find some words and underline them.

6 . How to change? Listen to the suggestion from ducks?
