六、教学过程

Step1 Brain storming(3分钟)

Brain storming

让学生根据疑问词what展开联想,并进行提问,越多越好。

T: Today I’ll introduce a special word to you. It is “WHAT”. Can you make special questions with the special word “WHAT”? Let’s have a try! (2分钟)

T: I’m the first. What is your name? S: …

T: Oh, we can use ‘WHAT’ to ask so many questions. It’s really special.

【设计意图】让学生利用疑问词what进行疑问句造句,打开学生思维的同时也帮助学生将之前所学的有关what疑问句进行整理和归纳。初步培养学生利用疑问词进行提问的意识,学会提问。

Step2 My profile(20分钟)

1. Presentation

1)T: You know I’m your English teacher. Do you want to know more about me? Here’s a profile about me.

课件出示表格T: If you want to know more about me. You can ask me with the special word ‘WHAT’.

Ss: What’s your name?

T: OK, you call me Miss Xu. So ‘Xu’ is my family name. ‘Bo’ is my given name. Xu Bo is my Chinese name. And I have an English name. That is Bonnie. I also have a nickname. That is Bobo. My family and friends usually call me Bobo. What about yours?

2)找几个学生询问他们的名字(Chinese name, English name, nickname)。

3)取出学生作业纸,填写表格上的Name一栏。如遇到有的学生还没有英语名,教师出示Resource card 1: English names让学生挑选自己喜欢的作为自己的英文名字。

4)Ask and answer in pairs. 让学生同桌互相问问对方的姓名(Chinese name, English name, nickname)。

2 Read and guess

T: OK ,you know my name very well. Do you want to know other information about me? 课件出示表格,引导学会提问:What do you like,Miss Xu?

T: I like many things. One is a kind of animals. One is a kind of fruit. One is a kind of food. The last one is a kind of colours. I have four riddles about them. Please read and guess! I have a resource card for you.(出示Resource card2: Word bank)The answers are among them.(在猜测的时候可以参考教师给学生的资源卡)

Riddle 1: It is brown. It’s not big. It is cute. It can run and jump. (dog)
