(一)热身:观看一段有关Children's Day 的chant视频,引起孩子们学习的兴趣。并由此提问“What holiday is it?”“It's Children's Day”。
(二)导入:通过日期、星期、节日问答引入正课。(看课件中的日历)
T: What's the date today?
Ss: It's April the 19th.
T: What day is today?
Ss: It's Friday.
T: Which holiday is coming?
Ss: May Day is coming.(Children's Day/ Mothers' Day/ Fathers' Day/ the Dragon Boat Festival......)
T: Which holiday is your favourite?
Ss: It's Children's Day.( Children's Day is my favourite holiday.)
T: When is Children's Day?
Ss: It's on June the 1st.
T: Look! Lingling and Mike are talking on the grass. What are they talking? Let's listen.
