二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
学生能够学习询问、回答或描述自己或他人最喜欢的科目并简述理由的交际用语:“Which class do you like best? I like…best. I do best in…. ”
2. 教学难点:
a. 学生对“I like…best. ”和“I do best in…. ”中best的正确理解和运用。
b.学生能够询问或描述自己或他人最喜欢的学科并简述原因。
c.学生能够听说、认读calligraphy, science, useful, difficult, interesting.
三、教具准备
教学课件、ipad、录音、单词卡片、活动单等。
四、学情分析
五年级的学生已经有了一定量的英语知识积累,该班学生比较活泼。由于借班上课,学生与我不熟悉,通过与学生交朋友拉近学生距离。学生在之前的学习中,已经接触学习过一些有关课程类的单词,以及favourite的用法。
五、教学过程:
Step1.Warm-up
Free talk: I’m your new teacher here. I want to make friends with you. “Hello, what’s your name? How old are you? What’s your favourite food?”
(设计意图:教师通过与学生交朋友这个情境,自然沟通交流,一方面拉近与学生距离,另一方面,通过聊学生最爱的食物过渡到最喜爱的课程。)
Step2.Presentation+ Step3.Practice
1.T says “ You like_____best. You like_____best. I like fish best.”
2. T says “ I like fish best” means “Fish is my favourite food.” And writes “ I like____best.” on the blackboard.
(设计意图:以旧带新,以学生已学的favourite入手,解释like best=favourite。)
3. T shows a timetable and gives an example “Another example. I like English best. Means English is my favourite class.”
4.T says “I like English best. So which class do you like best?” and T will put the word cards according to the answer.
(设计意图:从最爱的食物自然过渡到本节课新授知识点最爱的课程,引出新句型 “Which class do you like best? I like____best.)
5. After asking S1-S5, T asks “Who can ask me?” and writes the question on the blackboard.
6. T asks them “I like English best. Guess why? Because I do best in English.” ( Predict some students to say “easy, funny”)
