3、教学方式与教学手段说明：
在本课中我主要采取情景教学。通过设计把学生不知不觉带到对话的情景中去，并在此情景中解决对词汇及重点句子的理解。另外，平时的教学中有意识地培养学生小组合作学习，在小组内学生可以把学过的对话内容进行扩展或改编，提高学生语言运用能力。
4、技术准备：
根据课程的需要，我在课前自制了一些与本课有关的PPT。可以让学生更直接地进入本课的情景之中。另外通过中国地图“找老乡”活动，让学生对地理知识也运用到英语课堂中来。
5、前期的教学状况、问题、对策等说明：
学生在北师大版二年级学过本课的重点句型，但是对于一些相关的地理知识不是很了解，因此本课我找到了相关的视频，帮助学生更多的理解美国纽约和加拿大这两个国家。对于美国全称the United Stated of American 学生读得不是很准确，要在课上多带读。
三、 教学目标与重难点分析 知识与技能目标：
词汇：
●能听、说、认读以下单词tongue , the U.S.A. , east , north ，capital , Washington, D.C. , the United States of America 。
●能知道本文中出现的国家的首都，并能识别这些国家的标志性建筑物。
●能分角色表演对话。
2、教学重点：
对词汇capital , mother tongue , east , north的理解 以及the United States of America 的读音。
3、教学难点：在语言环境中知道一些主要国家及国家主要城市。
4、情感态度与价值观：
结合本课对话，使学生更深地体会到热爱自己的国家。
