教学内容

1.主题课文:

Doctor: What’s wrong with you, young man? You don’t look well today.

Mike: No, I don’t, Doctor. My neck aches terribly.

Doctor: What happened to your neck?

Mike: I stood on my head this afternoon and hurt my neck.

Doctor: Why did you stand on your head?

Mike: Because I wanted to practice kung fu. I’m very interested in it. I thought it was easy but it wasn’t.

Doctor: That was very dangerous, young man. You are lucky you didn’t break your neck. But we’ll have to take an X-ray first.

2.功能句型:

Why did you stand on your head?

Because I wanted to practice Kung fu.

学情分析

学生对本单元“健康,就医”话题并不陌生,在四年级的时候已经学习过相关表达,如What happened …? What’s wrong with…? What’s the matter with …? I don’t feel well. I have…而用过去式描述自己症状的原因,为他人的身体状况、健康等提出合理建议则属于新知。

教学目标

(一)知识与技能目标:

1. 能听懂、会说句型Why did you (stand on your head)? I wanted to (practice Kung fu). 并能在实际情景中运用。

2. 能正确理解,流利朗读课文,并能转述对话内容及进行新对话的创编。

(二)过程与方法目标:

1. 通过学习课文、观察图片、会话练习、会话创编等方式达到能听懂、会说句型Why did you (stand on your head)? I wanted to (practice Kung fu). 能在实际情景中运用的目的。

2. 通过听录音、观察图片、试学工具提示,教师教读,学生能够正确理解,流利朗读课文,并能转述对话内容及进行新对话的创编。
