1.（师生共唱"Happy Birthday"这首歌,引出生词birthday。）

T: Let’s sing "Happy Birthday" together.

（放歌曲录音,全班同学唱两遍。）

T: Do you know why we sing "Happy Birthday"? Because today is November thirteenth. Today is ...’s birthday.

（老师走到...的座位并说生日快乐。）

T: Happy birthday to you!

2.（复习并呈现基数词和序数词,用数字卡片呈现,创设直观情景。）

（先复习first的用法。）

T: We have learnt the sentence "Today is the first day of your new term." Section A of Topic 1 in Unit 5.
