T: It’s a happy day. Let’s enjoy s song. When you listen to the song, try to catch the key words: What is the song about?
2. Check out the answers.
a. The song is about friends.
b. From this song, we see they help each other.
Read help each other for many times.
3. Today, we will learn a new story about friends. First, let’s check out the new words. Did you preview the new words? How did you preview them?
Show the methods about previewing the words.
Ask some students to read the words.
Step3 While-reading
T: The song tells us friends should help each other. But in our story, do the friends help each other? Let’s watch and say.
Do the friends help each other? / Are they friends?
T: If you think they are friends, put up your friends; If you don’t think they are friends, put up your friends.
Ss say their opinions.
T: They are friends or not? That’s an interesting question. Let’s go on reading.
Read the students to read carefully and answer.
Who are the friends? / Where are they? / What animal do they meet? /
Are they safe at last? (Ask some students to read the questions.)
3. Check out the answers.
T: From which picture, you can find the answer? Can you read the sentences?
4. T: When you see a bear, what will you do?
