Step 1 warming-up

(1)Greetings: Good morning, boys and girls. How nice to see you again!

(2)Litter teacher: Ask and answer. Who is on duty today?Where are you from? How are you ? How is the weather? What is that?

Before we go to our lesson, how about singing a song? (All Ss stand up and sing it loudly and dance while within the video )Then have a look at the video <>

Step 2 Lead-in

T points at a calendar, saying “ what’s this?”

How many days are there in a week? Can you figure it out?

T:Do you know this word“sunny”(Draw a sun onto the blackboard).so what sun stands for? The sun comes out on Sundays

Step 3 Presentation

T:Sunday has six brothers and sisters,the first one is“Monday’. Read after me

Monday is a boy,He is fat and short.(Teach the other three words in the same way)

(2) T play the video tape .Look and listen

(3) T teaches the students how to read (pronunciation)
