Share an English song about school life before class.
Step 2: Lead in
Introduce one of our friends Tom. He is 11. He studies in London Primary School.
Do you want to know him? Do you have any questions about him?
Let the students ask some questions about Tom.
Now, today let’s interview him.
If you do well you can get a microphone in today’s class.
At the end of the class, the best one can get “ The voice of the English class”.

Let the students choose one question to interview first.
Interview 1: What subjects do you like?
Listen and say
Tom describes his favourite subjects in English. Let the students try to remember.
Lead out the sentence: I like Maths, English and PE.
Tick and write.
Then let the students try to show their favourite subjects just like Tom.
Let the students try to know: Different people like different subjects. But each subject can tell us different things. So please learn each subject hard.
Interview 2: What lessons do you have?
The teacher has some clues about Tom’s school subjects.
Look and guess: Show a part of the picture of the subject. Let the student guess what subject it is.
Lead out the subjects: Maths, PE, Music, Science and so on.
