2. Enjoy a cartoon: Four Seasons.

T: What’s the cartoon about?

Ss: It’s about …

T: Yes! It’s about “Seasons”. Today, we’ll learn Unit5 Seasons.(板书课题,带读)

How many seasons are there in a year?

S: There are four.

T: Yes! What are they? Now let’s listen and guess first.

Step 2: Presentation and practice.

1. Let’s learn. PPT出示季节图片,及鸟语花香的声音,蝉鸣的声音,落叶的图片,下雪的图片,让学生猜是哪个季节。

T:Which season is it?

Learn: spring,summer, autumn, winter

(T:板书带读,Ss:拼读,齐读,分男女生读,分小组读)

2. T:How is the weather in spring?

Ss: It’s warm in spring.

Learn: warm, hot, cool, cold

(T:板书带读,Ss:拼读,齐读,分男女生读,分小组读)

3.What do we do in each season?

(1) Watch and find: What do we do in spring?

Ss: We fly kites. We go boating.

Learn: fly kites, go boating.

(2) Read and find: What do we do in summer/autumn/winter?

Open the books and underline the activities.

Learn: eat ice creams, go swimming, have picnics, go climbing, make snowmen, go skating.
