1、知识目标：
学生通过本课的学习能够掌握单词：men, women, children, people, many.会认读单词：everyone.能够正确的使用句型Who are they? What are they doing? There are many ________.
2、能力目标：
学生能够熟练掌握和识记本课单词，能够运用本课所学知识用英语表达在各个场所中看到的、听到的人和事。在教学过程中培养学生以旧带新掌握一定的语言技巧的能力。
3、情感目标：
培养学生良好的文化意识和英语语感。启发学生在社会中应做到尊老爱幼、遵守社会公共秩序。
四、教学重点、难点：
1、教学重点：学生能够掌握单词men, women, children, people, many,everyone。
2、教学难点：学生能利用本课所学知识结合实际活动情况进行交际练习。

Step 1: Class Opening and Review：
1.Greet the students with the familiar phrases like this:
Hello! Boys and girls.
How are you today?
How’s the weather today?
It’s a lovely day! I’m happy? How do you feel?
【设计意图】：上课伊始，教师与学生自然的问候可以使学生快速融入英语学习氛围，同时为下一步教学做铺垫。
2.Review the verb and the verb phrases：Read and do.
read a book，play ping-pong，fly kites，laugh，read the newspaper，
play cards，go for a walk，play basketball，cry，sing a song，look out the window，talk，draw a picture.
【设计意图】：教师和学生一起边读边做动作来复习学过的动词及动词短语，有利于激发学生的学习兴趣，激活学生原有的知识，为学习新知识和知识的输出做必要的准备。
