4. 帮助学生形成阅读及分析语篇的能力。通过语篇学习，提高学生的听、说、阅读能力，培养学生连贯说话的能力。

教学重难点：

学生能掌握语篇里的词汇，句型，能理解语言材料，形成初步分析语篇的能力。。

学生能感知城市生活的好的方面和不好的方面，并用简单的语言描述。

教学过程：

一．Before reading.

（一）Leading in.。

1.图片引入话题，并呈现课题。

目的：利用视频，激发学生对city life的感受

2.先利用“头脑风暴”让学生说出 “What can you see in the city?”再解决与city life有关的名词与形容词词组，呈现新词 “theatre”.

3.播放有关 country life的图片，让学生回顾 country life ,然后说出与country有关的名词。

4.学生分2个大组讨论 What can we do in the city/countryside? 小组讨论---大组比赛---老师小结---呈现和操练 There is much more to do in the city than in the country. (让学生理解，并操练上口。）

5. 通过以上两个活动，引出句型 “…be different to…”并操练。

（T:We can see many different things in the city and in the country. And we do different things in the city and in the country. So , city life is different to country life.)

（二）呈现城市生活

1. 呈现并让学生感知

There are many nice things in the city.

They like the city life.

呈现几个人物开心的表情.通过由人物自己说出他对city life的感受，让学生感知并学习城市生活好的方面，同时学习新单词。
