Emotion aim: Encourage students to protect themselves through describing body parts . learn new things through cooperation.

Teaching important points : Expression on body parts.

Teaching difficulties:

The structures: I am hurt. She is hurt.

I hurt my knee/foot/elbow/hand/neck/head/leg.

Teaching content:

1.new words : knee foot elbow hand neck head leg hurt

2. new structures: I’m hurt. She is hurt. I hurt my knee/foot/elbow/hand/neck/head/leg.

Teaching preparation:

tape, recorder, pictures of body parts and wounded pictures.

Teaching processes

Step1 Lead-in : listen ,sing a “follow me” song.

(通过播放身体部位的歌曲,引起学生的兴趣,把学生引入学习身体各个部位的情景中)

Step 2 Presentation(Teacher shows pictures and teaches the new words.)

T: What’s this ?

S1: It’s a head

T: Good. Read after me---head

Ss: head

T:头

Ss: head, head.

T: What happened? (Show another head picture with a wound.)

S:受伤了

T: Speak in English “hurt”. Read after me—hurt

Ss: hurt, hurt

T: I’m hurt. Read after me—I’m hurt.
