二、学生情况分析
考虑到全英文教学对学生英语水平的要求,本节课的学生对象是六年级的学生。六年级上学期的学生已经会用英语表达时间,并且对有关时间单位有一些了解。同时,他们积累了一定的英语基础知识和基本技能,有一些英语学习策略,喜欢小组合作,喜欢与他人探讨问题。大部分学生对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣。
三、教学目标
1.能正确读出和理解生词:hour, minute, elapsed, start, end, last,
2.能说出各个时间单位。
3.能辨别A.M.和P.M.。
4.能用所学语言谈论和计算经过时间。
