Pre-class: Enjoy a cartoon ‘A Fancy Dress Party’ from ‘Peppa Pig’.
Step one: Lead-in
T: Just now, we enjoyed an interesting cartoon. What are Peppa Pig and her friends doing?
Ss: They are having a Fancy Dress Party.
T: Do you want to go to a Fancy Dress Party?
Ss: Yes!
T: But you have to finish my tasks and get the tickets.
Step two: Tasks
Task 1: Review and learn
Read the words for the clothes with the aid of the pictures.
直接呈现单词让学生认读,来帮助学生的复习。以旧知带动新知的学习。
Learn the new word: a shirt, a dress, a sweater, jeans, gloves, trousers
以旧词中相似音节的发音来引导学生正确读出新单词,并检查学生的预习情况。并通过小组内教读,小组间竞争的方式激发孩子学习的欲望。

T: Look at the screen and read out the flashing words or pictures as quickly as possible.
通过游戏来检查学生对单词的掌握。
Task 2: Let’s talk.
T: 出示句型: A: Look at his / her….
B: It’s / They’re so / too …
Make a dialogue in pairs to talk about the three pictures.
注意意单复数的运用及so / too 的用法
Read the dialogues together.
Task 3. Look and guess.
T: Whose(谁的) … is this/are these?
S: It's/they're…’s.
通过图片效果引出本课重点句型。在学生回答问题时要重点掌握单复数名词不同的问法,并注意’s的用法。在人名后加’s表示所属关系。
