PPT、word cards

教学过程：

Step1、Warming up

1、Free talk.

T: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today? Firstly, let’s sing a song.

2、Sing a song. If you are happy .

3、Play a game. Who are you?

学生听音乐，扮演各种动物，音乐停止，学生停止动作，老师随机问：“Who are you?”学生根据他正在扮演的动物回答“I’m ...”

Review. TTP show some pictures of animals.

T: Today is monkey’s birthday. Let’s go to monkey’s birthday.

Step2、Presentation

1、PPT show the giraffe and the monkey.

T: Look at the monkey. It’s ...用肢体语言引导学生说出short.用自然拼读法教授short的读法。

2、T: Look at the giraffe. It’s ...用肢体语言引导学生说出tall.

3、Watch the cartoon.拓展单词wall、ball

4、Ask students “Who is short？”“Who is tall?”引导生用刚才学过的句型回答。

5、Let students to guess “What is in my hand?”

让猜对的学生来回举球，引导学生说“The ball is light.”
