设计意图:通过歌曲与学生互动打招呼问好,询问天气和空气质量,让学生对于地球环境从小有意识。

Lead-in

Invite one of my best friends to the class. Showing students the picture card-Nemo.

Ask Ss Where is Nemo from?

Ss:From the ocean.

Ask Ss to listen to the recording since Nemo has something want to share with you and questions to ask.

Ask Ss describe the ocean and think about Nemo’s question:Is ocean the only place we live in?

设计意图:通过听力下放任务的形式,让学生用已学句型(The ocean is covered by salt water.)来进行对海洋的描述,Who else lives in the ocean?利用nemo引出海洋是否是我们唯一居住的地方,海洋里都居住着什么样的动物。为接下来介绍构成地球其他栖息地进行铺垫。

Showing Ss the using stuff in their house,to let them think about who give us these important stuff help us a lot in our life.

The oven—gas comes from the earth (deep down the ground)

The car—oil comes from the earth(deep down the ocean and ground)

设计意图:挑选学生家庭中真实的每天都要用的物品,引发学生思考这些东西都是谁赐予的,引出句子的教授,同时让学生明白爱护地球不仅因为他是我们的家园,他也是我们生活生生不息的唯一资源。为接下来如何保护地球做铺垫。

Ask Ss to watch a video and let them find out the differences of the earth between early days and modern days.Divide Ss in 8 groups to discuss how to protect our earth.

设计意图:让学生通过视频了解地球现在的环境困境,分组讨论“How to take care of our earth?”
