【Step2】Activity1:Read a poem
Here is a poem about 4 seasons. Let’s read it.
T: What’s the weather like today? How do you feel? Can you say the other word about weather? (可以让学生板书)
T: Today is sunny and warm. I can wear my sweater. Look at my sweater , is it nice? What clothes do you wear? Something else?(板书衣服类单词)
T: In spring , I can go on a picnic with my family. What about you?
Then, CAI show some phrases. Read the phrases one by one. Revision some activities of seasons.
设计意图:老师一首关于四季的诗歌起到一个抛砖引玉的作用。老师结合实际生活,问天气,问穿着,再到问现在这个季节里你干什么?激活了学生说的欲望,训练了学生的发散思维能力,复习了天气、衣着、活动,为学生下一个“说四季”的活动打下了基础。
【Step3】Activity2:Discuss and fill the form in a group
T: There is a form. Let’s fill it.
What’s the weather like in spring?板书:In spring, it is _______.
What do you wear?板书:We wear _______.
What can you do?板书:We can _______.
T: 4 students in a group. fill it together. Then, read your answer together.(小组形式上台展示)
T: My favorite season is summer. Because my birthday is in May. What about you?板书:My favorite season is______. Because ______.
设计意图:通过小组讨论,让学生合作填完一张表,再借用黑板上的支架以小组集体描述所填表格内容。训练学生“说”的能力,全员参与,发挥了小组合作性。
【Step4】Activity3Read and write a letter.
T: Look at this photo. She is my best friend Mrs Jin. She lives in Sydney. Do you have any questions about her?
Ss: How tall is she? What’s her favorite season? What’s the weather like in Sydney now?…
T: She sent me a letter. Listen, tick or cross. (Before do that, let’s read these sentences.)
T: In Sydney, It is Autumn now. but in Nan Chang, it is spring. It’s opposite.
设计意图:通过老师在悉尼的好友照片让学生提任何想问的问题,发散了学生的思维,引出好友的一封信,先让学生听录音做判断题,训练学生抓关键词等听力技巧,再让其阅读,有的之前询问的问题在文章中找到了答案,比如南北半球季节相反。学生很有成就感。
【Step5】Activity4 Write a letter to her.
Now we write an e-mail. ( teacher lead the students write the heading, thanking and inscribe.)
T: Who can read your letter?
T:Please listen carefully. I will ask some questions. What’s his/ her favorite season? Why?
