Teaching Steps:
Step 1 . Warm-up:
1.Listen to the song : Animals,animals are everywhere
2.Show some pictures to the Ss to review the animals.
Step 2 . Presentation
1. Let‘s learn
(1) Show the picture 1 in PPT. Ask: What are the people doing?
Ss look at the picture and answer : They are climbing.
Read the word and sentence ,ask Ss to repeat.
(2)Show the picture 2 in PPT. Ask : What is the rabbit doing?
Ss look at the picture and answer :He is eating.
Then ask the Ss to repeat the word and sentence.
(3)Show the other four pictures in PPT. Ask Ss to answer what this people/animal is doing?
Use the same ways to teach : drinking, playing, jumping, sleeping
(4)Open the E-book. Ask one student to come to the front and underline the “ing” after every word .Tell them the importance.
(5)Play the recording on the E-book. Ask Ss to listen and repeat.
