1. 教学重点:能口头应用以下句型:
① — Is this/that …? — Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t.
— Is he/she…? — Yes, he/sheis./No, he/she isn’t.
② — Are these/those …? — Yes, they are./ No, they aren’t.
2. 教学难点:能准确的将陈述句变成一般疑问句并做肯否定回答。

Ⅰ. Warming-up and revision
1. Greeting theSs. Good evening! /Hello!/ Hi! ...
2. Lead in:
Collect some items (pen, ruler, cup, book, pencil…) from the students and ask:
What’s this /that in English?(Help them answer like this: It’s a/an …)
Ⅱ. Presentation
1. Pretend that you don’t know whose these things are and ask A:
“Is this your book?”And lead him/her to answer: “Yes, it is. ”Then take another one
and ask its owner: “Is this your schoolbag?”Help him/her to answer: “No, it isn’t.”
2. To know Be(am,is,are) the General Questions.
— Arethoseyour books?
— Is this your schoolbag?
— Is sheyour friend?
Show the method of changing the general question to students.?找be动词,并将be动词提到句首,大写第一个字母
?原句中的第一人称一般要变为第二人称,如:I 改为you, my 改为your
