Step 1: Warming up
Chant:The boy is on a boat….
T: Today, We are so glad to have an English class in such a big hall. Boys and girls, would you like to say a chant? Ok, here we go!
Step 2: Review the sentence patterns
T: A park is a beautiful place and our friends like to go there. Please open your books at Page36. Who are they? Well, what are they talking about?
1. Listen, point and repeat
2. Show sentences on the board: There is a boat on the lake.
There are trees in the park.
T: What does Bill say? What does Joy say? How about Binbin?
3.Describe the park
T: (指主情境图)There is a boat on the lake. There are trees in the park. What else are there in the park?
Work in pair and say it to your partner.
