1. T shows a calendar and say “I was born in...”then ask one S "When were you born?"
2. Write this phrase "was born" on the Bb and read.
3. T shows a picture"started to speak" and introduce"Joy started to speak when she was ten months old. Her first word was mama."
4. Write this phrase on the Bb and read one by one.
5. T shows a picture "learned to walk" and describe "Andy learned to walk when he was..."
and ask the Ss "When did youlearn towalk "then help the Ss answer "I learned to walk when I was..."
6. Write this phrase on the Bb and read.
7. Teach "learned to swim, learned to ride a bike" by using the same way.
8. T shows a picture "went to kindergarden" and describ "Andy went to kindergarden when he was... years old." then ask one S "When did you go to kindergarden?" and let this S answer.
9. Write this phrase on the Bb and read.
10. Teach the phrase "went to school" by using the same way.
11. Play a game.
12. listen to the tape and match.
