Ss: The birds are singing. The ducks are swimming.
T: Very good! Today let’s learn “Module3 Unit1 The sun is shining.”
Text teaching
T: Play the tape (twice). Have students look and listen.
Ss: Underline the new words “sending, shining, singing”.
T: Explain the words and sentences.
Ss: Read and spell the words.
(三)巩固新知Practice
Make sentences using “is / am / are / + ing”
Look at pictures and talk about them.
