Step1 Warming up
?? 1. Greetings, introduce myself.
?? 2. Say a chant 歌谣导入,创设情境,激发兴趣.
Step2 Presentation
?? 1、Lead in: this class, let’s go on with Unit 4 Pets.(Write the topic on the blackboard.)
?? 2, 创设情境: Toby is going to join in a pet party, but he is very nervous, he can’t do anything, so his friends are going to help him to learn somethings.
?? 3、Play the CAI and ask the pupils to look at the screen carefully. Guess: Toby’s friends.
?? 4、Present the new sentences, CAI and TPR. For example:
T: Budgie can fly, so Toby wants to fly like a budgie, read “fly like a budgie “again and again.
Learn other sentences in the same ways.
Step3: Practice:
? 1. play a game: say and do (practice verbs)
? 2. chant:
? Fish, fish, / swim like a fish;
? Tiger, tiger/ roar like a tiger;
? Budgie, budgie/ fly like a budgie;
? Rabbit, rabbit / run like a rabbit;
? Hamster, hamster/ eat like a hamster;
? Dog, dog / sit like a dog.
