Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Warming-up

Play a vedio”rabbit dance”

Ask students to watch the vedio and follow it.

Step 2 Lead-in

Do a “Quick-eyes” game to review the learned nine places.

Then show a map to students.

Ask students”Where do you want to go?”

Then show students the way,ask students to follow the teacher’s instruction.

Lead students to have an impression of ”turn left,turn right,go straight ahead”

Step 3 Presentation

Ask students to look at”turn left,turn right,go straight ahead”,then read after he teacher and follow the teacher’s action.

Then “I say,you do”.Teacher makes the instruction,students do the action.

Then work in pairs,one makes the instruction,the other does the action.

Then play a game to check whether students master or not. Make several situations,such as “your classmate’s pencil case is here,please help her and show her the way”

Step 4 Practice

Open your book to page 33. Look at part 2. There are four places,park,post office,train station and museum.Where are they?Let’s listen and tick.
