Play a game—traffic police. Turn left/right. Go straight ahead.
Presentation
First ask and answer according to the map on page 6.
Next make an example help kids finish Exercise 7. Make sure the kids know how to do this exercise. (Teacher can move the shadow of the two kids’ photo while reading the sentences. And then fill in the number. In this way help kids understand the meaning of the sentences. )
Then have kids read after the tape. And have a reading practice.
At last , choose several pairs to act out anyone of the dialogues they have practiced.
Consolidation
Have kids rearrange the sentences in order.
Next listen and check.
Then read it.
At last make a new dialogue about asking the way.
