Step1: Pre-reading

Warm-up

T: The song is about feelings. We’ve known from Unit7. (生读课题)

Now,let’s review. (词句操练)

T: Look, what animal is this?

T: What’s the matter with little elephant?

S: He’s sad.

T: Why is he sad? Do you want to know?

Today, let’s have a reading lesson to find the answer. Are you ready?

3) Do a puzzle

T: Before reading, let’s meet the other animals. What are they?

S: A tiger, a duck, monkeys and a little elephant.
