Play a game to revise the words: left and right.
Step2. Presentation
Show pictures in PPT and say: Miss … has a sore throat. Where is Miss .. going?
She is going to the hospital. How to get there? Yes, go straight.
Now she is going to school. How can she get there? Turn right.
The same way to teach turn left.
Teach street, corner, traffic light, across from, bus stop by showing the pictures in PPT.
Step3. Practice
Write the words on the blackboard. Play games to read and memorize the words.
Study in groups of four to learn them.
Step4. Presentation
Present the new sentences by showing a picture of a street.
Put a smiling face at one starting place and tell the students where it will go. Ask the students to think about how it can go there.
Practice the sentences by more examples.
Step5.Target
Read and answer questions.
Fill in the blanks in PPT.
Show the target out.
Step6. Practice the sentences
Show the pictures in PPT. Students try to write down the sentences of how to get to a place. Check the answers.
