Dr. Stub is not the only clown doctor. There are more than 90 clown doctors in America. Many other countries also have clown doctors. Why? Because clowns make people laugh. And laughter is the best medicine. Many real doctors think that laughter helps sick people get better.
Dr. Stub thinks sick children need to laugh and have fun. They shouldn’t think about bad things. They should think about good things. He hopes laughter will help them get better soon.
